SF/BAY AREA BLACK ART WEEK
MoAD (Museum of the African Diaspora) is thrilled to prepare for the second edition of Nexus: SF/Bay Area Black Art Week!
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, Nexus continues to celebrate the richness of the Black artist community in the SF/Bay Area. This celebration will bring together institutions, galleries, creative spaces, and artists for a week of special programming, exhibitions, and unique engagements.
As a leading institution dedicated to celebrating Black cultures, igniting challenging conversations, and inspiring learning through the global lens of the African Diaspora, MoAD recognizes the importance of providing a platform for Black artists to share their work, amplify their voices, cultivate community, and gain the recognition they deserve.
Stay tuned for updates as we commemorate MoAD’s 20th anniversary with UNBOUND: Art, Blackness, & the Universe, and discover ways to get involved!
